When Miranda Hoskins asked me to take photos of her kids for a Warhol inspired art piece, I was elated. With my experience with Photoshop, I knew exactly how to create such a piece, even though I had never done one in the past. So she brought her family out to my home studio on small business Saturday where we took some indoor and outdoor shots of the kids.
I then spent the next few days working on converting the kids's portraits into Warhol style images for the final piece:
The final images:
It took a while of tweaking the original photographs to get them to convert with enough contrast to paint them in Photoshop, but overall, I'm pleased with how it turned out. I am having these printed on four 20x20 gallery canvases from CG Pro Prints to display in their home and the professional quality means they won't have to worry about the little ones bumping them or knocking on them. I know these will be a fun display for them!
