Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's party!'
~Robin Williams
Spring arrived early this year, so I took the opportunity to take my baby out for some portraits with the daffodils growing in the neighborhood this afternoon. Normally, she would take the chance to crawl around and explore, but she doesn't have much experience with grass and pine straw, so that kept her on the little blanket I had folded up for her to sit on. I gave her a flower to look at and she quite enjoyed shaking it and pulling on its petals. It was still cool outside and overcast with a hint of impending rain, so I kept our little session short. Overall, I am more than pleased with her images. She is just such a pretty baby.
I also spent some time over the weekend practicing newborn composites with her newborn photos. I think these will be a great addition to newborn sessions when I have them. There are so many digital backdrops available and it is just so fun to do them!
Hi, I'm Kathleen! I'm a photographer, digital artist, and mom of two. I love to travel and spend time with my kids.I am mostly focusing on digital art and photomanipulation right now. Thanks for joining me!
