Part of being a photographers is keeping up with trends and techniques, so I am a member of a few websites and Facebook groups that help photographers to network, share best practices, and sometimes have contests.  One of these groups is currently running a contest using a flower wreath stock piece by Terra Sinclair.  The image reminded me of the flower bonnets that are currently a trend in baby portraiture, so I decided to take just the upper portion and make it into a bonnet for one of the recent photos from my baby's cake smash session.  I used a couple of new techniques I've learned over the last few weeks, too. The winner has not yet been decided, but I really love how this turned out.
